Skye’s the limit

The Moffat Centre for Travel and Tourism Business Development continued its work to safeguard the future of iconic Skye.

Its research, which is shaping the island’s tourism masterplan for the next decade, exposed Skye’s vulnerability to the downturn in international visitors due to the coronavirus pandemic. The new study revealed tourism is worth £211million a year to the island.

The Moffat Report demonstrates the value and importance of tourism to Skye. We must take this data and use it to lobby for the infrastructure investment Skye desperately needs.
