Erase the Grey

A GCU campaign challenging myths and stereotypes around gender-based violence attracted international acclaim and was adopted by the Police and universities across the west of Scotland.

Created by students and staff, #ErasetheGrey won international attention before being broadcast to the Force’s two million-strong audience to mark 16 Days of Activism.

Detective Chief Superintendent Lesley Boal said: "The campaign is innovative and to the point. We are taking Glasgow Caledonian University's message to a wider audience across Scotland. By maximising its spread, we hope it will give people the confidence to report criminal behaviour either to the police or to our partners."
