Our Enactus students were named most effective team in the UK for promoting entrepreneurial action and social innovation.

They were crowned Enactus UK Summer Action Champions 2018 for their project development, financial management and efforts to engage the University's student support network. 

Enactus is the world’s largest experiential learning platform dedicated to creating a better world while developing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators.

Callum McKinnon’s social enterprise Rebound won funding to allow wheelchair users to access revolutionary trampoline therapy for the first time. 

The Big Lottery Fund grant helped alumnus Callum’s physiotherapy service to buy a hoist. The company, based in Stirling, is Scotland’s first and only open referral service for Rebound Therapy to offer children and adults with additional support needs trampoline therapy. Callum’s award-winning service was nurtured by U-Hatch.

Graduate and entrepreneur Isatou Njai was awarded a prestigious Royal Society of Edinburgh Enterprise Fellowship.

The fellowship recognises promising science and technology researchers and supports their development by awarding them a year’s salary, training and access to mentorship from RSE Fellows and other successful entrepreneurs, allowing recipients to focus solely on refining their own business ideas.
