GCU celebrated the completion of its spectacular £32 million campus transformation.

The two-year Heart of Campus project revitalised the campus with incredible new student spaces and will contribute to the University’s sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions as well as improving heating and ventilation.

Hundreds of music lovers and gamers were on campus as two popular events returned. Celtic Connections on Campus, an additional string to the world’s largest Celtic music festival’s bow, gave GCU’s BSc Audio Technology and BSc Audio Systems Engineering students a chance to showcase their skills. They provided technical support in live sets by up-and-coming artists to 600 fans.

And hundreds of Jammers joined students and staff as GCU hosted world-wide digital games-design event Global Game Jam. They competed against designers across the globe to create games in just 48 hours.
