Big Bike Days - Oct 2018

GCU Cycle Forum and GCU Belles on Bikes are hosting Big Bike Days on Tuesday, 09 and 23 October 2018 with a range of great activities to make cycling easier and safer for you.

The Big Bike Day will take place (mainly) outside the Security Office between 10:00 - 14:00 hrs.

Led Bike Rides - Discover Glasgow

Discover Glasgow on our led bike rides (we can lend you a bike) on Tuesday 9 and 23 of October at 14:00 hrs.  The bike rides will cater to all abilities and will be along traffic free routes or quiet streets, and will last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Find out more and register here.

Cycle Hack Workshop

This will be a hands on workshop giving hints and tips to help you keep cycling with minimum fuss.  We’ll be showing you how to repair a puncture, how to adjust your saddle to the correct height as well as some other handy bike hacks to make your cycling life easier! These workshops are free, but you need to register (Google Form).

Bike Security, Marking & Registration

Police Scotland will be offering security bike marking, registration and hints and tips on keeping your bike secure with their bike lock challenge.

Free Bike Health Checks & Fix Your Own Sessions

Dr. Bike will be on campus offering free bike healthchecks and supervised maintenance sessions on both days.
