International Summer School

Summer School Postponed

Glasgow Caledonian University takes the safety and wellbeing of our staff, students and visitors seriously. The unprecedented public health challenge around Covid-19 makes it impossible for us to continue with our plans towards running various events on-campus. Therefore it is with regret that we have made the decision to cancel the Summer School for July 2021. We are currently looking into plans for future opportunities for you to come to the university for an experience similar to that of Summer School. Should you wish to be kept updated on those opportunities then please complete the form below.

We hope to resume the summer school on campus in July/August 2022.

The teaching programme for all courses is available as follows:

  • 2 -week course
  • 3 -week course

Check in to accommodation is on Sunday before the start date. Check out of accommodation is Saturday after course finish date.

(extra nights stays are available at a supplement)

The programme team are focused on your enjoyment of Scotland and the friendships you make while you are here. As part of the summer school experience you can expect:

  • Campus accommodation in the centre of Glasgow
  • Social excursions and events (subject to COVID-19 government advice)
  • Discounts for students from our exchange partner institutions

Our summer school programme presents a challenging two and three week credit bearing course.

Some of the courses that we run are as follows:

We are also looking at adding some additional cultural based courses to our summer school
