Why did you choose your programme at Glasgow Caledonian?

Caledonian was the only university in the UK providing such a unique and interesting course. The idea of bringing a wide variety of subjects such as Human Biology, Sociology and Psychology together under the one course was interesting and it offers a wide variety of career opportunities.

What are you enjoying most about life at the university?

Glasgow Caledonian presents a vibrant and modern environment, not only for learning and teaching but also for individual development and group work.

What are you enjoying most about your programme?

Within the department, there are so many sources of advice to help with your coursework. The staff are always available to answer any questions.

Do you belong to any clubs or societies?

I have been elected onto the executive committee of the Students’ Association, taking on the role of women’s officer. I have also been involved within welfare volunteering, RAG volunteering, Student Leaders programme and I am a regular writer for the RE:Union Magazine. The Students’ Association provides a vast range of voluntary and paid positions which help to equip students with the necessary skills sought by employers.

What is your best experience?

I have absolutely loved volunteering for the Students’ Association.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

Four challenging but rewarding years of Human Biology, Psychology and Sociology has equipped me with the knowledge and experience required to pursue my dream career in health promotion.
