Why did you choose your programme at Glasgow Caledonian?

I decided I wanted to do a course that leads to a profession where I was going to be working with people to support them in improving or maintaining their standard of living. I chose GCU as it is well served by transport links and I liked the look of the campus as well as the content of the course.

What are you enjoying most about life at the university?

The friendly atmosphere and eclectic mix of students and staff.

What are you enjoying most about your programme?

The work placements.

Do you belong to any clubs or societies at the university?

I am a member of the golf society. However, as I work at the university’s sports centre (Arc), I have had involvement with several others – there are so many to sample!

What is your best experience so far?

Besides the coffee and breakfast rolls in the student union café?! Probably hearing Tom Hunter speak about philanthropy at the university.

What advice do you have for people considering applying to Glasgow Caledonian?

Arrange to visit the university and do some research so you are aware of what’s on offer.
