At Glasgow Caledonian we are proud of our graduates' high employability rate, with 95% of graduates finding work or further study within six months of graduating.
We offer a very wide portfolio of degree courses. Some are unique, such as our world-renowned Risk Management programme. Our Optometry programme is the only one in Scotland, and is supported by our state-of-the-art eye clinic. Other programmes such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Journalism are only offered by a few institutions in Scotland.
While many professions, including medicine and law, require a relevant named degree, an increasing number of companies looking for graduates don’t necessarily specify a particular subject area. What they want are the key skills that a graduate will have developed, including information technology, communication skills, teamwork and problem solving.
You can find out more about subject areas and courses through the Academic Schools or by using our Course Search tool at the top of each page on this website.
You can browse the web pages of each of our seven Academic Schools to learn about their courses and find information about specific careers.
We offer a dedicated Careers Service offering help and information to prospective and current students, as well as graduates.
