Online events

virtual- recruitment-events

Our virtual open days and applicant events provide you with an excellent introduction to university life and allow you to see around the campus. However, outwith these events we will run other online events throughout the year. These cover a wide range of courses and topics, and allow you to interact with course leaders and other related staff. They also allow you to see questions that other interested applicants and enquirers are asking - making sure you see the answers to questions that you may not have thought about.

Our Student Recruitment Team attend many events throughout the year in the UK and Internationally. Our team will be attending virtual Higher Education exhibitions throughout 2020, and these may be of interest to prospective students their families, teachers and careers advisers to attend.

Please see below for a list of all upcoming on-line events.

Parents' guide to higher education

Students clearly benefit from the support of their parents/guardians and other family members as they make the transition into higher education, particularly if they are about to leave home for the first time. We also understand that not every family has personal experience of higher education and doesn’t always know what to expect. Our Parents' guide to higher education can hopefully help answer some of these questions. You can view and download the Parent Guide 2020.

Accommodation

Our accommodation team are on hand throughout the year to answer any questions you may have. You can email them at: accommodation@gcu.ac.uk . We also have a handy Accommodation Booklet that you can download.
