On successful completion of this module students should be able to1. Identify a broad range of intensive and extensive technologies to minimise the concentration of pollutants in wastewater.2. Design efficient wastewater treatment plants within the frame of sustainability: water management and evaluation of economic and environmental costs.3. Evaluate qualitative and quantitative environmental indices and indicators.4. Use technical procedures and language to interpret, analyse and evaluate treatment systems.
