Pre-Requisite Knowledge

This module is intended for incoming exchange students. Sufficient prior knowledge of the key points of the topic to be studied to have a meaningful outcome for the candidate.

Summary of Content

Personal project or work related experience within a School of EBE subject area appropriate to the student's home programme, to develop social and interpersonal skills, including time management and study skills at a level appropriate to the programme and the credit value of the module.

Teaching / Learning Strategy

As determined by the student and the EBE Programme Leader in consultation with the student's home institution. Examples could be to assist in the research area of the appointed supervisor, initial investigation justifying the feasibility of more research, comparison of methods/legislation/practices common to UK verses the candidate's home country, etc.
