Learning Outcomes

On completion of the module students should be able to:" Discuss the classification, chemistry and pharmacokinetics related to local anaesthesia." Undertake local anaesthesia procedures in the ankle and foot for a given patient" Undertake best practice in administration of local anaesthesia in the ankle and foot, in order to maximise patient outcomes" Discuss the range and purpose of common nail and skin surgical techniques in the foot.
