Summary of Content

The Projects modules aim to equip students with the skills needed to effectively manage complex projects and to approach problem solving in a structured manner. Students will be exposed to real world problems by working in teams on unique projects and case studies with clients in different industries based in Africa. In doing so, they will develop the skills of breaking down complex problems into manageable structured subcomponent tasks, collaborating, communicating effectively, and incorporating feedback. In this module, students will develop familiarity with marketing concepts and internal business processes.

Teaching / Learning Strategy

This module will require students to apply foundational project principles to marketing and business process projects. A blended learning approach will be used to engage students in the module content. Students will be introduced to concepts and deepen their understanding of these concepts through facilitated classroom sessions. Students will also independently study content published on the online learning environment. Students will further deepen their understanding of all module content through peer learning. Students will receive further support during weekly Office Hours sessions with facilitators.
