Summary of Content

The Projects course aims to equip students with the right skills to manage complex problems effectively and approach problem solving in a structured manner. Students will be exposed to real world problems by working on unique projects and case studies with clients in different industries, with a particular focus on Africa. In doing so, they will learn how to work in teams, incorporate feedback, and break down complex problems into manageable structured tasks. In this module, students will engage with marketing concepts and internal business processes.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:1). Engage with marketing concepts2). Use data and information to develop and defend project recommendations3). Conduct a feasibility analysis4). Develop a logical, structured business process

Teaching / Learning Strategy

This module will allow students to apply foundational project principles to marketing and business process projects. A blended learning approach will be used to engage students in the module content. Students will be introduced to concepts and strengthen their knowledge of these concepts through facilitated classroom sessions. Students will engage in individual self-work content, published on the online learning environment. Students will further deepen their understanding of the module through peer learning. Students will receive further support during weekly Office Hours sessions with facilitators.
