Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:1. Identify and describe the general manifestations of disease, and the characteristics of malignant disease.2. Discuss and justify the range and use of treatment modalities in oncology. 3. Outline the typical pathway for a patient with cancer from presentation to follow up with specific focus on the journey through the radiotherapy department.4. Describe the features and treatment management of tumours of the: Prostate, Bladder, Lung, Thymus, and Oncological Emergencies. 5. Outline radiobiological principles.
