Entry requirements 


  • Certificate of secondary education/Maw 6 at 50% or above in each subject
  • Associate degree or diploma/higher certificate in vocational education suitable for Level 2
  • Advanced entry to Level 2 or 3 possible with equivalent study from bachelor degree programme

Postgraduate taught

  • GPA 2.5 / 4.0
  • Exception for qualifications from top four universities which require GPA 2.3:
    • Chulalongkorn University
    • Kasetsart University
    • Thammasat University
    • King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
  • Exception for bachelor degrees in selected subject area which require GPA 2.3:
    • Engineering / Built Environment / Architecture

  • Exception for bachelor degrees in Business from Assumption University (APAC) which require GPA 2.3


English language requirements

Further details of Accepted English language qualifications are available for students requiring to evidence their English language ability. Students who wish to join a programme with a higher English language requirement must provide a SELT result/certificate as evidence of English.

Alumni ambassadors

GCU has alumni ambassadors around the world who kindly volunteer to provide current or prospective students with practical advice on what to expect when they arrive at GCU and how to make the most of their time at university.  

Furthermore, the ambassadors are a point of contact for GCU alumni based overseas and can offer useful tips on settling into a new country or setting up an event or networking opportunity.
