Entry requirements 

These are minimum general requirements only. Please refer to the relevant programme pages for essential subject requirements and grade ranges. Advanced entry is only possible where qualification aligns with the course.

Undergraduate

Successful completion of Matura with a score range of 50%-80%, dependent on programme of study. Two or Three Advanced Level subjects plus Standard Level Maths, along with other set subjects for certain programmes may also be required. Please contact international@gcu.ac.uk for further details.

 

Postgraduate

  • Licenciat/Inzynier (after 2001) with a ECTS grade of C or D and a Polish grade of 3.5 out of 5.0
  • Magister/Magister Inzynier with a ECTS grade of C or D and a Polish grade of 3.5 out of 5.0

 

English language requirements

To study at the University you must also provide evidence of your English language ability. For further information on the University’s English language requirements, please click here.

Further details of Accepted English language qualifications are available for students requiring to evidence their English language ability. Students who wish to join a programme with a higher English language requirement must provide a SELT result/certificate as evidence of English.

Alumni ambassadors

GCU has alumni ambassadors around the world who kindly volunteer to provide current or prospective students with practical advice on what to expect when they arrive at GCU and how to make the most of their time at university.  

Furthermore, the ambassadors are a point of contact for GCU alumni based overseas and can offer useful tips on settling into a new country or setting up an event or networking opportunity.

There are many ways that you can find out about studying at Glasgow Caledonian University. The Enquiries Office is open from Monday to Friday from 9:30am until 4:30pm, and is closed on Saturday and Sundays.
