Entry requirements 

These are minimum general requirements only. Please refer to the relevant programme pages for essential subject requirements and grade ranges. Advanced entry is only possible where qualification aligns with the course.


Undergraduate applicants that are completing Thanawiya Amma are not generally able to join an undergraduate programme at the University and would be required to undertake a foundation course before joining one of our undergraduate programmes at GCU. Contact for further information on accepted foundation qualifications. 

  • Post-school Certificate Diploma acceptable for Level 1 and Level 2 entry respectively
  • Higher/Advanced Diploma acceptable for Level 3 entry


  • Bachelor Degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale

English language requirements

To study at the University you must also provide evidence of your English language ability. We accept the National University of Science & Technology (NUST) Honours degree awarded by GCU* to meet English language requirements for all of our programmes.

Further details of English language requirements are available. Students who do not possess an Honours degree from NUST, must provide a SELT result/certificate as evidence of English.

*Must be less than two years old at the start of programme
