Glasgow is situated in west central Scotland on the River Clyde. The city is served by a major international airport, only 15 minutes drive from the city centre. Whilst it is not always possible to fly directly to Glasgow, there are good connections via other major airports such as, Dubai, Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Manchester.
The University is ideally located in the Glasgow’s city centre, which has excellent car, bus and rail links as well as superb local amenities.
Glasgow itself has excellent rail links with the rest of the UK, with Queen Street and Central Stations located in the City Centre.
The main entrance to the University Campus is on Cowcaddens Road, across from Buchanan Bus Station, the city’s main bus terminal.
Glasgow has its own underground train service which runs on a circle line through the city’s centre, west end and south side of the River Clyde. Two of the underground stations, Buchanan St and Cowcaddens, are within easy walking distance of the University.
