University signs new co-operation and exchange agreement

Zhejiang University

The University has signed a new Co-operation and Exchange Agreement with Zhejiang University of Media and Communications in Hangzhou, China.

The agreement, with the University’s Glasgow School for Business and Society, will

allow students who have successfully completed three years of undergraduate programmes in advertising, public relations and creative media to apply for direct entry into Level 4 of an appropriate full-time Bachelor (Honours) degree programme at GCU, for example BA (Hons) Media and Communication.

GCU and Zhejiang students have already been working together to create Superstars, a magazine offering students from each institution an insight into life in China and Scotland.

Julian Calvert, Media and Journalism Subject Leader, said: “We are delighted that the University has signed this agreement with Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. This exciting venture will offer students of both institutions fantastic opportunities to experience the culture of each nation and reflects both GCU and ZUMC’s excellence in media and journalism.”
