Chitkara students’ first visit to GCU
Chitkara University students are guests of the University this month.
It is the first time students from the university have visited GCU. As well as touring the country and trying a range of cultural activities such as ceilidh dancing, the engineering students have been guests of British power systems company Rolls Royce, and attended lectures.
Ashleigh Morrison, of Exchange and Study Abroad, said: “The students are having a fantastic time and have been enthusiastic about everything they have seen. As well as our engineering programmes, the students have been extremely interested in finding out more about our business programmes, and we were able to work with colleagues in the Glasgow School for Business and Society as well as the School of Engineering and Built Environment to give them an insight into opportunities to continue their studies here.”
