Caledonian College of Engineering wins prestigious award
Caledonian College of Engineering, the university’s partner in Oman, has been awarded the Asia Award for the Best Educational Institution in Engineering by the World Education Congress.
Dr Ahmed bin Hussain al Balushi, Acting Dean, accepted the award on behalf of the college at a ceremony in Dubai attended by international leaders and academics from more than 17 Asian countries including Singapore, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, Philippines, Korea, Japan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The international awards recognise exemplary leadership and excellence in education. 
Dr Ahmed said the presentation of the award was a proud moment for the college and such international recognition gave “added momentum to strive towards continuing excellence in the new academic year”.
Caledonian College of Engineering was established in 1996, and offers Bachelor and Master programmes in Engineering.
