Topman pops up with GCU campus store

The Topman campus shop will be open until April 1.

Topman has opened a temporary pop-up shop at Glasgow Caledonian University’s Saltire Centre, in a move that is a world first for the international clothes retailer.

The store, which will be on campus until Friday April 1, is open from 7am to 11pm and will cater for students who may be studying late and don’t have the chance to browse during the daytime.

A 20% discount is available to all students and staff, and everyday there's a chance to win an outfit  by completing an email prize draw.

Professor Christopher Moore, Vice Dean of the Caledonian Business School, says: "As Topshop and Topman build closer educational relationships with the university, the Topman brand has provided our students with an excellent opportunity to learn first hand about how a market leading brand manages its operations.

"Pop-ups have become an integral part of fashion retail marketing activity and GCU students have had the opportunity to learn from a market leading brand. Furthermore, the company are also offering GCU students exclusive discounts and generous prizes."

Topman is the stand-alone fashion business counterpart of Topshop that caters exclusively to men’s clothing. It has a presence on just about every UK High Street, and in Ireland main street outlets in six cities and towns. Since its creation in the 1970s, Topman has also built an international presence, including concession outlets in boutique stores in both New York and Japan, and two entire floors at the world’s largest fashion store in London’s Oxford Circus.

The Topman pop-up shop is located on the Saltire mezzanine level. If you’ve seen an item that isn’t available in the boutique, let the sales assistants know and they will be happy to order this in for you. Email
