Caledonian College of Engineering celebrates 20th graduation ceremony

Caledonian College of Engineering's 20th graduation ceremony was held at its Airport Heights campus in Oman.

Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Pamela Gillies CBE, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Karen Stanton, and Acting Dean of the School of Engineering and Built Environment Professor Iain Cameron have joined more than 400 students at GCU’s partner institution, Caledonian College of Engineering in Oman, to celebrate graduations.

Professor Gillies and Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President of India’s VIT University, awarded degrees to 401 students, and an additional 97 graduating in absentia, at the College’s 20th graduation ceremony, held at its Airport Heights campus.

They are joined by His Excellency Dr Said Hamed Said Al Rubaii, Secretary General of Oman’s Education Council, and members of the College’s Board of Directors, Executives, and Governing and Academic councils.

Sixteen Masters degrees, 333 Honours degrees, 83 Ordinary degrees and 66 Diplomas were awarded at the event.
