There are many ways to contact our VISA Team, please see below for options available. You can also browse our website whilst you await a reply where you may find the answer to your question.

Email responses from the VISA Team are currently taking 5 working days. For urgent enquiries, please call us or book a Drop in slot to speak with an Advisor. Alternatively, please mark your email as Urgent and we will aim to prioritise your request where possible. Thank you for your patience.

Visa Drop-In Sessions

The VISA Team are currently running remote Drop-in sessions for students twice per week. These take place at the following dates/times:

  • Mondays 10am-12pm
  • Thursdays 2pm – 4pm
Book a drop in session to speak to one of our advisors Drop-ins are for quick questions and advice; students will receive a 10 – 15 minute slot with a VISA Advisor via video call, telephone, or web-chat, followed with an email summing up the advice given.

Note: If you are contacting us to request advice on behalf of someone else, written permission from the individual must be emailed in advance to VISA@gcu.ac.uk, providing your full name, and authorisation that we liaise with you in relation to their enquiry. Where possible, applicants/students are advised to contact the team directly.

Appointments

If you have not yet received advice from a VISA Advisor regarding your query, please request a Drop-in slot firstly by completing the online form

Longer appointments are booked directly with the VISA Team for providing initial advice for in-country visa extensions, submissions, or if your enquiry is complex. As such, please let your Advisor know if you feel you require an appointment and this will be arranged between you and your VISA Advisor as required. Appointments can be scheduled via phone call, video call, or web-chat. We are also available to assist you via email.

During the on-going and developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the VISA Team is still here to support all current and prospective international students with visa-related enquiries.

If you have already met with an Advisor and require more information, you may request a further Drop-in slot, or send an email to visa@gcu.ac.uk with the details.
