Change your address and contact details

You can view and update your contact details through the portal.   Login with your domain username and password

We will check your new address before it goes on your record.  You’ll get an email to confirm it has been updated.

I want to see my addresses
  1. Visit Student Zone and use your domain username and password to log in
  2. Click on address tabs – there might be several if your permanent address is different from your term address
  3. You can see the type of address in the panel. Address type will show the type of address: 

 

  • Permanent – your home address. 
  • Term – where you are living during the academic year.  This might be the same as your home address. 
  • Next of Kin – the name of the person you want us to contact in case of an emergency while you’re studying.  

 

      My Permanent/Term/Next of Kin address are the same - I want to change my Term address to a different address from Permanent and Next of Kin
      1. Click Add
      2. Tick Term Time
      3. Enter address
      4. Enter Accommodation Type
      5. Click Save 
      My Permanent/Term/Next of Kin address are same – I want to change all my addresses
      1. Click on the Address tab with the addresses
      2. Click Edit
      3. Update address
      4. Check accommodation type still correct – update if necessary
      5. Click Save
      I want to change my Term address back to Permanent address
      1. Click on address tab with Permanent Address
      2. Click Edit
      3. Tick Term Time
      4. Update Accommodation Type 
      I want to change my mobile number
      1. Click link to change mobile number in the My Details page. 
      2. Enter your new number – check it carefully
      3. Click Update. 

      You’ll get a pop up confirming your request has been submitted but it will be updated 

      I want to change my personal email address
      1. Click link to change personal email address in the My Details page.   
      2. Your personal email address is labelled External email address. 
      3. Enter your new email. Check it is correct. 
      4. Click Update
      5. You’ll get a pop up confirming your request has been submitted but it will be updated immediately.  
      I want to change my Next of Kin (Emergency Contact) details
      1. To change the name of your next of kin, login to the portal and follow the link to update emergency contact name. 
      2. We also hold the relationship of your next of kin to you e.g. parent, spouse, partner, friend.  If you need to change that, email Student Records.  Email from your university account or the personal email address we have on your record.  Include your student ID in the email.  
      Permanent/Term/Next of Kin are same – I want to change Permanent and Next of Kin to a new address and change Term to a new different address
      1. Click Edit
      2. Enter new address for all types
      3. Save
      4. Click Add
      5. Tick Term Time
      6. Enter address
      7. Enter Accommodation Type
      8. Save
