All applications to study at GCU are considered on academic merit.
We encourage all students to disclose a potentially disabling condition or impairment at the point of applying to study at GCU (whether this is on your UCAS form, or a GCU course application form).
This means that the Disability Team are alerted to your possible enrolment at the earliest opportunity. This enables the Team to ensure that you receive appropriate advice and information, and to put in place any adjustments, support or facilities you may require, prior to the start of your studies.
The Disability Team will write to you in advance of you starting your studies at GCU, requesting further information about your needs. Any information you provide in relation to disability will be treated sensitively and in confidence.
If you didn’t disclose a condition or impairment on your application form, and you would like to tell us about your needs now, you can complete the Self Assessment Questionnaire and return it to the Disability Team.
