The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent, UK-wide initiative carried out by market research firm Ipsos MORI. You are eligible for the National Student Survey (NSS) if you are a final year undergraduate or in your fourth year of a flexible part-time programme.
You can find more information by visiting the NSS website.
What will I be asked in the NSS?
There are a number of core questions, relating to aspects of your experience such as the teaching on your course, assessment & feedback, academic support and a number of other key areas.
You are also given the opportunity to give positive and/or negative comments on your overall learning experience at the end of the questionnaire.
What happens with my feedback?
Your feedback will be passed on, anonymously, to the University to help us identify how we can continue to enhance the student experience at GCU. NSS results are also aggregated and made publicly available to help prospective students make informed decisions about what and where to study.
Your privacy comes first
We take your information privacy very seriously. All responses to student surveys are strictly confidential and are anonymised for reporting purposes. Reports will be in aggregate format and no individual will be identifiable. All surveys follow strictly the University's Data Protection guidelines.
The external company that runs the National Student Survey, follows their own strict policy for Ipsos-mori.
