GCU Experience Survey

What is the GCU Experience Survey (GCUES)?

GCUES provides undergraduate students not eligible to take part in the National Student Survey (NSS), and all taught postgraduate students with an opportunity to provide feedback on their student experience at GCU. The survey is run by GCU's Strategy & Planning team in consultation with Schools and Service Departments across the University.

This survey asks students about their experiences of their current course at GCU, covering a range of topics including:

  • Course teaching

  • Learning opportunities

  • Assessment & feedback

  • Academic support

  • Learning resources

How can I take part?

The survey runs in March each year. If you are eligible to complete GCUES, you will receive an email to your university email account with a link to the survey. The survey will also be available to all eligible students via GCU Learn.

Why should I take part?

Participation in the GCUES is optional, but by completing the survey you will play a part in enhancing the student experience for current and future GCU students.

What happens with my feedback?

Your feedback will be passed on, anonymously, to the University to help us identify how we can continue to enhance the student experience at GCU.

Your privacy comes first

We take your information privacy very seriously. All responses to student surveys are strictly confidential and are anonymised for reporting purposes. Reports will be in aggregate format and no individual will be identifiable. All surveys follow strictly the University's Data Protection guidelines.
