We are getting ready to welcome back our students ahead of the new academic. We will be doing everything we can to ensure you enjoy your learning experience with our blended approach of online and face-to-face teaching as well as the chance to create new friendships and feel part of our GCU community.

In what is lining up to be an exceptional year, our dedicated lecturers, support staff and Students’ Association are working hard to give you the best possible University experience. Where possible, and in line with Scottish Government guidance, this will include interactive, face-to-face engagement as well as classes delivered remotely through GCU Learn - our dedicated online learning environment. GCU Go a comprehensive set of resources, has been developed specifically to support you with your online learning through your learning journey. 

Trimester A starts with our induction week on Monday 20th September, with teaching commencing the following week on Tuesday 28th September. Please note, Monday 27th of September is a holiday and the University will be closed. 

Access to the library and safe study spaces and IT labs on campus will be provided from the start of term.

Enhanced safety measures including one-way systems, sanitiser stations and deep cleaning will be in operation on campus and will continue for as long as is needed. The health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff will continue to be our highest priority.
