Information for students studying a Postgraduate course
If you start a full-time or part-time master’s course in Scotland and you are Scottish domiciled, you can apply for a Postgraduate Loan from SAAS for eligible courses. You’ll be able to borrow up to £10,000 in total to pay your fees and help with living costs. SAAS will only fund a course elsewhere in the UK if it’s not available in Scotland.
Tuition fee loans will be provided for full time EU students undertaking an eligible postgraduate course commencing in either 2018-19 or 2019-20 and part time students starting a course taken over two years from 2018-19.
Distance Learning Masters – Courses undertaken at a non-campus based institutions such as OU may be eligible for funding providing they meet all other rules of the scheme.

Research Masters courses are not funded unless there is a taught element.
Pre-Registration Nursing Courses are not funded.
