On campus registration

We anticipate that card collection will be on campus for trimester B, we will update this webpage with further information so please keep checking this page for details.

Home Students: You must bring a valid form of ID with you to collect your card, such as a drivers license or passport.

International and EU Students: We will need to see copies of your VISA documents to finalise your registration and issue your card.  This will include your entry clearance vignette (with entry date stamp), passport and BRP or UK Immigration ID share code (EU/EEU only)

If you have any concerns, you can contact our registration team at registration@gcu.ac.uk with any questions you have.

Acceptable Forms of ID

To collect your student card in person, you must produce one of the following forms of identification:

  • Passport
  • Driving license/provisional
  • Young Scot card

If you do not have any of the above, email us for further guidance.

SAAS/SLC Payments

If you have applied for SAAS/SLC funding we will confirm your details after you have completed your registration.  Please ensure that your details with both GCU and your funding body are the same to prevent any delays with your payments being made.

If you are SLC funded, please email a copy of your award letter to loans.grants@gcu.ac.uk including your student ID so that we can confirm your loan.

You will need to submit a photograph so that we can produce your student card.  The easiest way to do this is by uploading a suitable photo during online registration.

If you have been unable to upload a picture you can send one to us in .jpg format to registration@gcu.ac.uk
