Borrowing

A number of the University’s software licences allow members of staff to install programs on their personal computers.

The university’s licences are for educational use only so once installed, the software should only be used for work related to university teaching and research and must be uninstalled when you leave the university.

The list below shows the programs available to staff. To borrow a CD go to the Library Desk in the Saltire Centre where you will be asked to sign an agreement that you have read and will abide by the licence conditions.

The loan period is 24 hours and fines are 50p per hour, the same as short loan.
