GCU partners on EU programmes

Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) is a partner in a newly awarded EU funded project which aims to bring together Higher Education Institutions and businesses, professional organisations and chambers of commerce.

Entitled “Good Practice Pilot Action for Innovation Industries: Education, Training and Exploitation” (GADGET), the project will conduct a pilot across three countries establishing good practice of training for industry needs within the environmental and energy industries.

Alongside GCU, the UK project partners include AppleGreen Homes and the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.  The project is led by the University of Alicante and includes partners from HEIs and enterprises from Spain and Austria.

The €500,000 project is funded under the European Commission’s Erasmus Lifelong Learning Programme.
