Better Specialist Support

It's not always easy to ask for help, especially when you're concerned about burdening your colleagues or not sure if you'll be adequately supported if you do.

However, for GCU, looking after our staff when they need it - whether they're struggling with a short-term illness or dealing with an ongoing one - is one of our most important responsibilities. We know that getting support early can help avert problems that could lead to greater complications if ignored. And by contacting us, you can gain the benefit of specialist help and advice that you may not have access to otherwise.

Employee Assistance Programme

GCU has teamed up with PAM Assist to offer staff access to a free confidential support service.

Through PAM Assist you will have access to clinical and professional expertise which gives you a chance to talk about all kinds of work and personal issues.

There's no need to wait until you're in severe need before you use the programme - in fact, getting in contact early is better than waiting until things get worse. The only requirement for using the EAP is to be a member of staff at GCU, and in need of a helpful and confidential ear.
