Working Well Week 2016

The 2016 Working Well Week took place 16 and 22 June.  The week was a sucess with 550 members of staff attending almost 60 sessions throughout the week. More than 80 people managers attended the launch of the event by the Principal, 54 staff received a ‘Mini MOT’ and 87 Campus Services staff took part in a lifestyle talk over a healthy breakfast. Around 250 staff attended the healthy barbecue that closed the event.

The week featured sessions to promote staffs physical and mental health and wellbeing such as Massage, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy and Unconscious Bias as well as Mini MOT checks and Caledonian Clinic drop-in Physiotherapy appointments.  This is the second year that the Working Well week has taken place and thanks to the support of staff and the Executive Team, participation was excellent.

To complement Working Well Week Staff Development Week will run in January 2017, again for the second time.  The Staff Development week focuses more on the development of staff in their roles and seeks to empower people to take control of their own personal development.  The dates for the January 2017 Staff Development week will be announced shortly.
