Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) and the Social Enterprise Academy present an inspiring evening debate - Social Enterprise: an academic discussion or changing the way we do business?

Taking place at Glasgow Caledonian University on Thursday 6th December 2012, the debate will cover themes inlcuding: What does social enterprise mean to you?  How does it work?  Is it a new business model for the 21st century?  Who cares about it?

The event will feature keynote speakers including Alistair Grimes, Director of Rocket Science UK Ltd. Alistair’s previous roles have included Chief Executive of Community Enterprise in Strathclyde and Chair of the Scottish Credit Union Partnership. Jim Mullan has been responsible for the development of KibbleWorks’ business portfolio since 2003. Ewan Foreman is Managing Director of 1LET Ltd and Managing Director and Chairman of the AWL Group.

At the event, you can also find out more about the part-time MSc in Social Enterprise– the only postgraduate degree in Scotland designed specifically for the growing Social Enterprise Sector – developed through the collaboration of Glasgow Caledonian University and the Social Enterprise Academy.
