Principal visits new Caledonian College of Engineering campus

A delegation from GCU helped Caledonian College of Engineering students celebrate their graduation this month.

Principal Professor Pamela Gillies, Chair of Court Tony Brian, Professor Karen Stanton and Professor Douglas Greenhalgh, Executive Dean and Pro Vice-Chancellor of the School for Built and Natural Environment, visited Oman to attend a graduation ceremony and the opening of Caledonian College of Engineering’s new Airport Heights Campus.

The new campus houses the college’s School of Foundation Studies and has teaching areas, a library and social and student services spaces, as well as boarding accommodation for 250 women students.

Dr P Mohamed Ali, Chairman of the board and Governing Council of Caledonian college of Engineering, said: “I am delighted that Professor Gillies and her team could be with us to open the doors of Airport Heights campus and celebrate the success of our students.”
