Founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion (BoF) and GCU Honorary Professor Imran Amed will deliver an inaugural professorial masterclass entitled A Series of Digital Experiments at GCU London on Tuesday, June 23.

With his unique insights into the creative and commercial sides of fashion, Professor Amed has emerged as one of the industry’s leading writers, thinkers and commentators.

In 2007, he started a blog called The Business of Fashion (BoF) just as social media and smartphones were about to explode onto the scene, new markets were rapidly emerging in China, India and Brazil, and the financial crisis threw the industry into a tailspin.

Five years on, with its award-winning editorial franchises and a global reputation for intelligent, analytical content, BoF has grown into the pre-eminent daily destination for the global fashion community.

Students, staff and fashion business leaders will attend the masterclass at GCU London, home of the British School of Fashion, GCU’s innovative academic hub developed to create and disseminate strategic fashion business insight through its provision of leading-edge education, research and consultancy.

Professor Amed has been named in Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business,? Previously, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Professor Amed has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Com from McGill University.
