Students and staff will attend GCU London’s graduation ceremony at Christ Church, Spitalfields, tomorrow, Wednesday June 17.

They will be joined by Colin Henry, CEO of premium fashion retailer Jaeger, and Patricia Dunion, former CEO of Transform, whose achievements are being recognised by the University.

Mr Henry will be appointed as an Honorary Professor of GCU and presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the fashion industry.

Ms Dunion, former Chief Operating Officer of Transform Medical Group, will receive the University’s Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of her business excellence and her work on Transform’s patient charter.

Dr Linda Amrane-Cooper, Dean of GCU London, said: “I am privileged to welcome such distinguished award winners to GCU London. They bring a wealth of professional knowledge and experience. Graduation day is always a day of celebration and a highlight of the GCU London calendar, and I am delighted that Mr Henry and Ms Dunion are joining our graduates, their family and friends on this special day.”

The formal celebration will begin with the traditional academic procession of GCU academics, award winners, members of the University staff, the Senate, the Court, Senior Officers, the Vice-Chancellor and the Bedellus from the GCU campus in Fashion Street to Christ Church.
