GCU New York hosts business leaders event

The Rt. Hon. Nicola Sturgeon MSP returned to Glasgow Caledonian University New York (GCU New York) for a business leaders event on Tuesday, June 9.

The event was hosted by Ernst and Young (EY) and Scottish Enterprise’s international arm, Scotland Development International.

The First Minister and Dr Lena Wilson, Scottish Enterprise Chief Executive, addressed business leaders and potential investors and highlighted that a recent EY study found investment in Scotland from the US is at its highest for 10 years.

Paul Gallagher, EY Lead Tax Partner, Rennie McConnochie,  Senior Business Development Manager, Aberdeen Asset Manager, and Michael Roach, CGI Chief Executive, joined the panel discussion.

The visits to GCU New York are part of a series of business engagements the First Minister is conducting during her official visit to New York and Washington DC.
