At this time of year we're sure that you've got a whole host of questions that you need aswered before starting your programme. For all programme-related enquiries you should contact your school or department and they will be able to help.

Essentials

Money -  Information on different aspects of manging your money, fees and funding can be found on the Fees and Funding pages

Accommodation - For all student accommodation enquries you can contact the Accommodation Office.

IT Issues - Contact the Information Service Desk if you have problems with usernames and passwords or other IT issues.

Registry - Campus Life Desk deal with joining packs, matriculation cards, registration, your student record and more.

International Students

The Visa Immigration Support & Advice offers advice and help for international students before they arrive and whilst they are studying at GCU.

Student Events - Our Student Events Team is responsible for delivering a programme of social activity to the GCU student community - including our international welcome programme.

Study Support

Learning Development Centres - You can get free and impartial advice to improve your learning and study skills from the LDC. 

Just need to talk to someone - The Counselling Team is also available to answer any questions.

Student & University Services

Campus Life Desk - The Campus Life Desk is here to ensure you feel supported during your time at GCU and the Team is on hand to answer any questions and direct you to the relevant services as required.

Student Events - Our Student Events Team is responsible for delivering a programme of social activity to the GCU student community. If you’re looking to find out whats on at GCU, visit our webpage.

Students' Association - Glasgow Caledonian University Students' Association (GCUSA) offers a whole range of services that you could need during your time at university. Services include a welfare department for advice or support, a sports union and several bars with catering services.

Library - Check out the library website, use the library catalogue or contact your librarian.

Facilities Management - Contact ‘Facilities Helpdesk’ for any queries regarding building maintenance, domestic services, security, fire procedures, disabled parking, lockers etc.

Health & Fitness - Contact the Arc to find out about the membership options and the classes and services they offer.

Unsure who to contact?

The Campus Life Desk (George Moore - level 1) is your starting point for all sorts of enquiries. Staff there can give you information or make an appointment with specialist services. It's a really good place to start if you don't know where to go.

You can also speak to your school contacts and they'll happily point you in the right direction.
