This page lists frequently asked questions about the closure of the library due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our reopening in September 2020.
As the phased reopening of the library progresses we will add more questions to this page. If you cannot find the answer to your question here then please contact us.
All information regarding physical book requests and collections can be found at the click and collect service webpage.
Physical items cannot be requested for inter-library loan however eresources may be available. Requests can be placed direct from Discover by either:
- Carrying out your search and selecting Expand My Results Beyond GCU Library Collections; choose the Get It tab where available and sign in; click Inter-library loan request,you will be taken to the request form which will be automatically populated with the information about your chosen item.
- or, using our Inter-library loan request form. You must log in to use this form and input the information about your request.
The printers in the library are still operational but can only be accessed by those who have booked a space to study in the library. You can book a space by following the instructions on this page.
