How to Apply

The University has partnered with Myjobscotland to enable candidates to apply for vacancies online.

All vacancies can therefore be viewed on both the GCU website and the myjobscotland recruitment website. When applying for any role(s) you will automatically be redirected to the myjobscotland website (by hitting the ‘Apply now’ button), to make the application online.

Before making an application

Before making an application, you will need to set up an account with Myjobscotland.  You may also wish to take advantage of the myjobscotland job alert service which will enable you to receive notifications of new opportunities at GCU, which match your specified criteria, as they arise.

If you require assistance with creating an account please refer to the list of frequently asked questions regarding myjobscotland.   If you experience any technical problems when completing your application on myjobscotland, please email myjobscotland@cosla.gov.uk  for support.  Please also note that the privacy statement is available for your information.

Completing your application

For guidance on completing your application form please read the notes for the job application process. You should read these notes carefully along with the job profile and person specification before completing and submitting your application.

Applications will not be considered after the deadline and CVs will not be accepted instead of an application.

Further assistance

If you are unable to apply online please contact us as soon as possible before the closing date by emailing recruitment@gcu.ac.uk or by phoning 0141 331 8864.
