Programme Description

Summer School in Social Innovation is designed for students who wish to drive social change through new ideas. It directly responds to an emerging need for a greater understanding of the processes and dynamics that underpin social innovation and will encourage students to broaden their theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field.

The programme aims to prepare students in a range of diverse concepts and processes and to help them to apply their knowledge in order to drive social change. The course will explore different aspects of social innovation, including: social entrepreneurship, social enterprise and the creation of social start-ups; impact measurement; new models for social investment; new spaces and technologies (digital artisans, co-working etc.); active citizenship; social innovation in the public sector.
