Deborah Wilson

Deborah qualified as a podiatrist in 1997 and graduated with an MSc in Podiatry in 2014 from Glasgow Caledonian University. She has worked within NHS Lanarkshire’s acute hospital services for the past 19 years, dedicating her career to the treatment and management of diabetic and vascular foot complications. Since 2015, she split her specialist clinical role to become a part-time lecturer in podiatry at Glasgow Caledonian University, lecturing for the undergraduate Podiatry honours programme, and is module leader for the lower Limb in Diabetes, Evaluation of Risk module within the Diabetes Care and Management MSc programme. In 2016 she gained her Diploma of Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine, and is now an examiner for the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine’s Members exam.
