Paulina Trevena

Paulina is a qualitative researcher with a background in linguistics (MA) and social sciences (MA, PhD). She moved into public health research after years of specialising in international migration and research on families, on which she has published broadly. She has extensive experience of working on qualitative and mixed-methods projects, policy-oriented research, and public engagement. She has a particular interest in community engagement and community interventions.
Paulina’s research interests within public health centre on alcohol interventions, mental health and well-being, and access to and experiences of service use.
She remains interested in international migration, and in particular migrant mental health and well-being, social and occupational mobility, geographical mobility, living and working conditions, and integration.
