Aimie Patience joined Glasgow Caledonian University in October 2017 as a Research Associate on the Gait Rehabilitation in Early rheumatoid Arthritis Trial (GREAT) led by Professor Martijn Steultjens and Dr Gordon Hendry. Before joining GCU, Aimie completed an Arthritis Research UK public health internship in 2016 and worked as a clinical trials associate and rheumatology podiatrist at the University of Leeds. Aimie is now working on both the GREAT study and her PhD which is focussing on the Achilles tendon in psoriatic arthritis. Her research interests include inflammatory arthritis, tendinopathy and ultrasound imaging of the foot and ankle.
