Henrietta Fawole

Henrietta is a PhD student within the musculoskeletal health research group at Glasgow Caledonian University. Before this, she studied for an MSc in Rehabilitation Science (Pre-registration Physiotherapy) at GCU and BSc (Hons) in Health Science at Paisley University (now UWS). Originally a physiotherapist with clinical experience in Nigeria but she is presently an early career lecturer and researcher at the Department of Physiotherapy, University of Benin in Nigeria. Henrietta’s research interests are in physical activity promotion and recommendations in the management and/or prevention of primary and secondary non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Her PhD work is evaluating the role of physical activity and fatigue in individuals with knee osteoarthritis, which includes using large secondary datasets from the Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study (MOST). Henrietta’s hobbies include reading, singing, walking and knitting.
